Data is one of the most important factors for business success, and the correct use of analytics is essential for any business looking to stay ahead of the curve. In 2018, we introduced our internal Business Intelligence (BI) team to develop our data strategy and drive performance, and strengthen our position as a technology leader.

Since then our team has been hard at work furthering our capabilities, creating custom automation processes that eliminate repetitive reporting and boost internal efficiencies. With live data dashboards, we’ve been able to track trends and identify areas of improvement based on past results.

By offering these same benefits to our clients with the launch of Air BI, we aim to help them leverage their data through technology and provide a competitive advantage.

Heading up the Air BI team is Darren Turner, who brings a strong background in data and analysis after helping some of the world’s largest retailers improve efficiencies and develop cost-effective solutions through Business Intelligence.

Business Intelligence is key for any organisation looking to transform digitally and make advances in an increasingly competitive environment. From deepening customer and market knowledge, to making smarter decisions and achieving business goals, any business can benefit and make great improvements when data is used effectively.

What is Business Intelligence?

Business Intelligence (BI) is the process of analysing and connecting data from a range of sources to optimise performance and forecast key business decisions.

Whilst all organisations have access to their data, not many realise the true extent of its power, and very few know how to correctly utilise it to their advantage. BI offers the tools to help manage and interpret data, providing analysis and visual dashboards that enable actionable intelligence.
