The Great People Awards
Air IT’s Great People Awards is a quarterly celebration recognising the fantastic contributions made by employees across all areas of the business – from service desk and projects to sales, marketing, and finance through to our cyber security and BI teams.
Whilst many of our staff are still working from home, we met up both in the office and via Microsoft Teams to acknowledge the hard work and dedication shown by our employees in the third quarter of the year.
Recognising outstanding performance
The Great People Awards consist of two categories: the Outstanding Customer Service award recognises Service Desk colleagues that have gone above and beyond, receiving the highest number of positive reviews from clients. The LOVE (Living Our Values Everyday) award celebrates the employee that has given and received the most points in our employee rewards system, based on our company values of Innovation, Commitment, Community and Excellence. The winners of each award earn a bonus of £150 and a place on our Great People recognition wall.
Outstanding Customer Service
Matthew Oppermann is the worthy winner of the Outstanding Customer Service award for Q3. Matthew joined the company just four months ago so he has got off to a flying start – to achieve this award in such a short space of time is a testament to the great service he is delivering. Well done, Matthew!

LOVE (Living Our Values Every Day) Award
The LOVE Values award was won by Zee, Air IT’s Business Administrator. Zee is an instrumental member of the team who helps people in all areas of the business, keeps everything running smoothly in the offices and helps lead the Culture Club, our internal committee that organises group activities and social events and helps ensure Air IT continues to be a great place to work.
This year, alongside the Culture Club, Zee helped organise the inaugural AirFest, our company-wide festival which saw teams from all Air IT regions come together for the first time and celebrate our achievements. The weekend was a huge success, attended by over 160 people. Thank you for your efforts, Zee!
