Congratulations to Service Request Engineer, Kyle, and Internal Systems Administrator, John, for being crowned winners of the Great People Awards for the first two quarters of the year.
The Great People Awards
On Wednesday 30th June, teams from across Air IT joined colleagues to acknowledge the hard work and dedication shown by our employees so far this year.
The Great People Awards are a quarterly celebration recognising the fantastic contributions made by employees across all areas of the business – from service desk and projects to sales, marketing and finance through to our cyber security and BI teams. Whilst most of our staff are still working from home, we made sure to keep up the tradition of meeting up (via Microsoft Teams) to celebrate staff achievements.
Two double wins
The Great People Awards consist of two categories. The Outstanding Customer Service award recognises colleagues that have gone above and beyond, receiving the highest number of positive reviews from clients. The LOVE Values award celebrates the employee that has given and received the most points in our internal rewards system which is based on our company values of Innovation, Commitment, Community and Excellence.
This time around, we were celebrating awards for both the first and second quarters of the year. As it turned out, the same two people won their respective awards for both quarters!
Outstanding Customer Service
Kyle Yates is the worthy winner of the Outstanding Customer Service award for both Q1 and Q2. Kyle has been a valued member of the Air IT team for more than 3 years and a big part of his job involves helping new users get set up with new systems. He has shown a lot of innovation in this role and helped improve the process, so it’s great to see his hard work being recognised with lots of positive feedback from customers. Well done, Kyle!
LOVE (Living Our Values Every Day) Award
The LOVE Values award has once again been won by Internal Systems Administrator, John Davies. John is a long-standing member of the team who supports all areas of the business, both internally and for client projects. He has won the LOVE award so many times now it’s hard to keep count – keep up the good work, John!

At Air IT, we’ve always been all about the people so, whilst most of us are still working from home, it’s great to be able to see some of the team start safely coming back into the office and we are very much looking forward to when we can all celebrate face to face again.
