He joined the Board in December 2024, bringing extensive leadership experience in technology. His track record of building high-performing businesses with a strong focus on culture and customer service aligns perfectly with Air’s vision. Prior to joining, Barney served as CEO of Focus Group, where he led the company through a period of accelerated growth, resulting in its successful sale to Hg. He has also held senior leadership roles at Dimension Data and Ensono, guiding both organisations through key stages of growth and cultural transformation.
Barney is passionate about ensuring that customers, people and culture are central to everything we do at Air, believing these are at the heart of the most successful and fastest-growing businesses that we see today.

As Managing Director of Air Sec, Air’s cybersecurity division, Lee focuses on delivering high-value solutions that proactively protect clients and ensure their long-term success.

As such, his astute leadership keeps the Group financially robust and operationally scalable to support ambitious growth and leverage new technologies like AI.
His goal is to build a solid foundation for sustainable success for our customers and for Air.

Our environmental impact
Our Green Air Time Group lead in developing and implementing company-wide green initiatives..
These initiatives include:
- reducing energy consumption and using renewable energy sources across our offices.
- reducing carbon emissions by changing to LED lighting
- encouraging recycling and reducing the amount of waste destined for landfill.
To reduce WEEE waste in landfills, we donate all our old laptops and electronic items to WEEE Charity who reuse and recycle them to sell on.
We work with the Neutral Carbon Zone to ensure we are taking a best practice approach to calculating emissions. For the second year in a row, we have been awarded the NCZ Gold Certificate of Assessment.

Our ESG governance
We partner with Sustainable Advantage, a specialist ESG consultancy, to independently review our credentials and targets. Through this collaboration, we co-develop and implement action plans that create value, maximise impact, and strengthen our positive contribution to the world.
As a result of this ongoing partnership, our Annual ESG Audit score has consistently improved year-on-year since our first assessment in 2023. Our ESG Committee meets regularly to evaluate initiatives and progress against our action plans, ensuring we remain on track and accountable.
