Air IT Joins The Big Goal 2025 to Support Youth Homelessness

What is The Big Goal?

The Big Goal is more than just a corporate football tournament, it uses the power of football to raise awareness and drive change for young people experiencing homelessness. The 5-a-side tournament brings together technology businesses from across the UK, to compete for the title of National Champion. This event supports the remarkable Street Soccer Foundation and their mission to help young people through football-led programmes.

And there’s even more at stake, the overall winners of The Big Goal 2025 will have the incredible opportunity to represent England at the Corporate World Cup in Morocco this October!

Air IT takes the pitch

We’re excited to announce that we’re entering two teams into the regional finals of The Big Goal 2025. This isn’t just about football, it’s a chance to come together, have some fun, and support a great cause. Whether our colleagues are experienced footballers or just want to take part for fun, this is a great opportunity for us to get involved and make a positive impact. We’ll be sharing updates along the way, so stay tuned as we take on the competition.

Here’s when and where we’ll be playing:

• South Team: Brentford FC – Friday 11 April
• North Team: Sheffield Wednesday – Friday 25 April

Our social impact

The Big Goal isn’t just about football, it’s about making a difference. In 2024, The Big Goal helped sponsor 462 young people through Street Soccer Academy programmes, providing coaching and mentoring to those in need. With the support of businesses like ours, The Big Goal has created an outstanding social impact, helping to tackle youth homelessness and create positive change.

This year, through our sponsorship and participation, we’re proud to play our part in this incredible initiative we’ll continue to support these vital initiatives and work towards a future where more young people have the opportunities they deserve.
