John Ambler

ICT Manager, Scape Group Ltd

"Air IT Group's IT project work and ongoing IT support has been an extremely positive experience for our business. We commissioned Air to migrate, upgrade and move our network along with the added complexity of merging two businesses into a brand-new facility. The work was carried out professionally and the project ran very smoothly. Compliments from Scape staff can be no higher than “everything just worked from day one.” Our internal ICT team work in partnership with the Air IT Group engineers for all our ongoing support requirements, which is an excellent and complementary fit for us as a business. I can recommend Air wholeheartedly as an excellent IT partner."

The Challenge

Scape Group wanted to integrate its IT network with Arc Partnership’s, combining infrastructure and domains into one efficient, centralised environment.

The aim was to simplify management, reduce duplication, and make better use of existing hardware, all while maintaining business continuity.

Given the complexity of the infrastructure across two distinct organisations, Scape’s internal ICT Manager needed end-to-end project support, from feasibility through to implementation and post-migration support.

Key Requirements

Unified network infrastructure

Minimal disruption

Optimised use of existing hardware

Scalable solution

The Outcome

We worked in close collaboration with Scape’s internal ICT team to design and deliver a seamless migration plan. Our team consolidated Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments, creating a single, integrated infrastructure. Storage for file servers was expanded to ensure smooth data transfer, and key hardware from Arc Partnership was rebuilt to improved specifications.

We also deployed a Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) appliance to strengthen resilience and data protection. Engineers remained on site post-deployment to ensure minimal disruption and rapid response to any user issues.
