After acquiring our communications division Managed Business Communications (MBC) in 2013, the business has now been fully integrated with Air IT allowing our clients to enjoy a complete and seamless solution for all their IT and Communication needs.

Since coming on board with Air IT over half a decade ago, MBC has continued to trade as a separate business despite being managed by the same team of experts at Air IT.

The two companies have co-existed ever since, fostering a joint set of company values and goals that are reflective of our customer-focused and people-first ethos.


Converging markets

Back in 2013, Air IT was quick to recognise the convergence of IT and Communication technologies, and Nottingham-based MBC was acquired as our specialist communications division.

Since then, there has been a rapid rise in the use of cloud computing, unified communications and web-based applications. As such, many businesses now rely on their IT, telephony and connectivity solutions to operate and serve their own customers efficiently.

The integration of MBC will ensure that we continue to meet our clients changing needs and deliver a more seamless service than ever before.

After 5 years of trading as two separate businesses, we felt now was the right time to integrate MBC, leading with Air IT’s core strength as an award-winning managed service provider (MSP).

Although many of our clients have already recognised the benefits of working with a single supplier for all their business ICT needs, this development marks a significant step forward in our ability to support them by ensuring they’re fully aware of everything we offer under one roof.

So what’s changed?

Realistically, there will be no change in what services we can offer to our clients. So whether your business needs help with some or all of its IT, telephony and connectivity services, we’ll tailor the best solution to meet your specific requirements.

We’ll continue to provide the same industry-recognised standards as before, as we remain fully Ofcom registered and FCS compliant.

Any affected clients have been contacted individually regarding the integration of their services which is now well underway. And those who take advantage of both our IT and Communication services will enjoy simplified billing and ongoing management of their account.
