This week, we celebrated the winners of the first Great People Awards of 2023 - our quarterly awards for colleagues that go above and beyond and live Air IT’s values every day. Congratulations to all the winners and runners-up.

The Great People Awards

The Great People Awards is one of the ways we recognise and congratulate colleagues for going above and beyond and living our company values. It’s really important for us to celebrate not just client feedback, but also peer recognition that has been given and received.

The winners and runners-up of this quarter’s awards should be really proud of what they have achieved this year and we look forward to helping them continue to grow at Air IT.

 

How we celebrate our Great People

We have been reviewing how we reward and recognise excellence across Air IT and have made some changes to the Great People Awards. For each award, we’ll have a winner per quarter in every region and we’re excited that we can reward and recognise more colleagues across the business.

We’ve replaced our 3 previous award categories (Outstanding Customer Service, L.O.V.E Values and Spotlight) with 2 new categories. The winners of each award will receive a £300 bonus.

 

Introducing our new categories:

The Customer Excellence Award recognises an individual within the regions, who has delivered exceptional service and gone above and beyond in their role to demonstrate exceptional levels of customer experience.

The Regional Recognition Award is an colleague nominated award, where anyone in the company can nominate someone they’ve seen someone go above and beyond in their role to deliver a significant impact to a region. The Regional Recognition Award goes to someone who is recognised by their colleagues as living our values. A member of the team who has exceed in their role, completed their objectives and made a significant impact in the region.

At the start of each quarter, the Head of Regional Operations will communicate with their teams about what the regional focus is and some criteria that they’ll be looking for when they choose the winner.

Thames Valley – Ryan White, 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer

Milton Keynes – Matt Cox, Customer Service

London & South East – Adam Finch, Helpdesk Analyst

East Midlands – Ben Humphreys, 1st Line Service Desk

West Midlands – Darren Geoghegan, Technical Analyst

 

Regional Recognition Award
